2022 EASTER CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW

16 April 2022
JUDGE: MRS JEANIE MONTFORD (NSW)

I would like to express my thanks to the Vizsla Club for welcoming me and to the exhibitors for their cheerful acceptance of me as your emergency replacement judge.

I was very impressed with the depth of quality through the classes….so many embodied the elegant, noble, light dry and lean structure called for in the Standard.  Most were of the correct proportions of height and length, with the appropriate amount of bone with just a couple tending to be a little heavier.  Most impressive too, were the temperaments – all steady and friendly. Movement was free and active with most looking as if they could work all day in the field.  I would like to compliment the breeders who have made such great improvements since the breed first graced our rings especially in front construction, feet, and in the temperaments as mentioned above.

It was wonderful to see some new exhibitors and I hope that they have some exciting times ahead with their babies.

Thank you for welcoming me  even though I am not a breed specialist, and for the lovely judge’s gift with I have been using every day!

Jeanie Montford

PLEASE NOTE:
Due to Floods in NSW this show had a change of date, location and Judge just prior to show.  Because of this there is no official critique and the Club’s normal photographer was not in attendance.  Thank you to Debbie Meagher for taking the in-show photos.
