17mouth- old male with so much to admire, super type, noble, elegant, lean & dry, light footed on the move, in excellent coat, short, dense & hard to touch, gleaming condition, excellent muscle tone, hard & firm.  This boy impressed on entry to the ring and did not disappoint hands on, head is correctly proportioned, blunt moist nose, lively expression, dark eye, clean throat, moderate strong neck into reasonably angle forequarters, straight good bone, into tight oval feet, depth is correct, well ribbed back, elegant underline, quarters are well muscled, he carried a firm top line and moved with purpose coming and going, a dog that would be able to work all day, most definitely a very versatile Gundog.  Happy to award RU BEST IN SHOW

2.5-year-old dog, of reasonable type, in good overall condition, lean & dry hard, dense coat, not quite as elegant as required, head is pleasing with correct lively expression, dark eye, clean throat, moderate length of neck, ideally would prefer more layback.  Good bone & oval tight feet, reasonable ribbing, balanced front to rear, pleasing disposition & moved okay needed more reach as required for this breed.

BEST EXHIBIT IN SHOW

4-year-old dog that is full of quality and so impressive standing and moving, this exhibit excels in so many qualities required for this breed, he is most definitely a very versatile gundog, noble, elegant, dry, lean & full of muscle ensuring he could work all day. This dog entered the ring with such presence, using the ring with power & drive ensuring you stopped to look, a lovely correctly proportioned head piece, blunt moist nose, lively expression, dark eye, clean throat, flowing into strong medium length of neck, well angled forequarters, good bone,  tight slightly oval feet, correct depth of body, well ribbed back, slight tuck up, enhancing the underline and elegant appearance, strong, well-muscled  powerful quarters, with a strong top line, he moved as required, light footed, far reaching animated gait with drive moving around the ring with ease, his coat was hard, dense & in glowing condition, expertly handled to the top award of which I was honored to award.

6 month old baby, another promising baby, good type, head is correct proportions, blunt nose, dark eye, clean throat, moderate neck, forequarters slightly more upright than ideal, good depth of body, reasonably ribbed back, slightly longer in loin, quarters quite well muscled for age, top line & tail set correct, happy baby who moved well, light on her feet with animation.

Another very nice bitch, less mature than the winner, head is pleasing, blunt nose, dark eye, clean throat, medium length of neck, correctly made front assembly, good bone & feet, well ribbed back, quarters strong & muscular, top line correct, bit unsettled moving so not using herself as believe she could, coat hard & dense, in lovely overall condition.

3rd – Metropolis Marquise Mystique  (Hanney)

This exhibit lacked the confidence on the day but did appreciate some of her other qualities, head was pleasing, blunt nose, correct shaped eyes, clean throat, reasonable forequarters that were balanced with her rear, good bone & feet, coat was correct hard & dense, movement would be better if the owner could convince her that showing was in fact fun, good luck with this one.

This bitch makes quite a good shape overall, head piece is correct, blunt nose, lively dark eyes, clean throat, medium length of neck, forequarters more upright and slightly wider in front than ideal, body is just deep enough, reasonably ribbed back & okay tuck up, balanced front to rear, top line & tail set correct, light footed on the move, coat dense & hard and in very good muscled condition.

Another lovely bitch with lots of qualities to admire, smaller bitch overall,  just lacked the elegance of the winner, head is correct proportions, dry, blunt nose, lively dark eye, clean throat, strong well-muscled medium neck into well laid forequarters, good prosternum, quality bone & feet, depth of body correct, well ribbed back, short loin, reasonable tuck up, strong well-muscled quarters, top line strong, moved as required, light footed, animated with drive, in lovely condition, coat correct hard & dense.
