The show was held at the excellent grounds of the Bill Spilstead Complex for Canine Affairs, which provided a spacious and well-organised setting for this specialty event. I was warmly welcomed by the President and her dedicated committee, whose hospitality and organisation were very much appreciated. It was a great honour to be invited to judge this show.
An entry of 24 dogs was presented, with very few absentees, ensuring strong competition across the classes. My steward for the day did an outstanding job, ensuring the ring ran smoothly and efficiently throughout.
The overall standard of the exhibits was good, with many quality dogs displaying correct breed type and sound movement. There was a pleasing consistency in presentation, and several exhibits stood out for their balance, construction, and ring presence.
The exhibitors were welcoming and supportive, showing true sportsmanship and generously applauding both class and main winners, which contributed to an enjoyable and positive atmosphere ringside.
I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the Club for the invitation and for their efforts in hosting such a well-run and enjoyable event.
I would like to sincerely thank the Secretary and the hardworking committee for their kind invitation to judge, and for the generous hospitality shown to both my mam and myself. It was a privilege and a true honour to judge this wonderful breed.
