Now that you have your Vizsla, have you thought about participating in some activities or dog sports so you and your Vizsla can spend more time together and have a lot of fun?

There are so many activities available to you and all will not only be enjoyable but social as you will make new friends with like interests.  Doggy activities are great for the whole family to participate in together and get away from the TV and computer.   Conformation showing for example has “Junior Handler” classes and competitions for kids.

There is a brief outline of some of the more popular activities on this website but there are many more, some competitive and some not.  There is Rally Novice, Dock Diving, and Dancing With Dogs just to name a few.  There are also training programs for Therapy Dogs who visit hospitals and nursing homes, and Story Dogs who visit schools and libraries.

The canine governing body in your state is a good place to start for information on any activities available to you.  See our contact page for details.

The Club’s What’s On page will show upcoming events should you wish to join in or just come along and watch to see what goes on.

Go on, get involved – you’ll be amazed how much fun you have!
